A coat built to be worn open. The weight sits in the shoulder, which meant padding the head of the sleeve by hand until the roll fell exactly where the collarbone ends.
Wool from a mill in Biella, milled heavy enough to hold a fold overnight. Nothing is fused; every interfacing is pad-stitched, which is slower and the only way the lapel breaks the way it should.
