Tactile

Tactile is a textile piece conceived and made by Emilia Rota for Per Huttner’s performance of the same name at the Pinacoteca in São Paulo, Brazil. It is a tripartite Möbius band: the artist and the visitor put their hands through it and together touch a work in the museum — with the Pinacoteca’s agreement, and gloves compulsory. A photographic work by Per Huttner was then made with the piece and shown at the Fagerstedt gallery.
