The artist Per Huttner and the designer Emilia Rota carried out a year of research between Paris, Guatemala and El Salvador, into the Maya vision of a tripartite world and its dynamics. The two continued their research on the ground, meeting Maya descendants and scholars, with the intention of translating that thought into images and into a European language. Per Huttner, photographer, and Emilia Rota, performer, performed across Guatemala and gave back the experience and their reflections in 2016 in Stockholm, in an exhibition at the Fagerstedt gallery.
